ASUS VivoBook X542UA

ASUS added a new configuration within the VivoBook line of Laptops, releasing the ASUS VivoBook X542UA on 8/26/2017. There are currently 10 configurations for this model that we know of, and those are X542UA-GO254T, X542UA-GQ222T, X542UA, X542UA-DM338T, X542UA-DM342T, X542UA-DM336T, X542UA-GQ266T, X542UA-DM584T, X542UA-DM593T, there's also the X542UA-DM491R. The ASUS VivoBook X542UA could come in a few different colours, however we're not aware what they are.

Multiple options of processor are on offer inside the ASUS VivoBook X542UA, with those processors being the i7-7500U, 4405U, i3-7100U, and i5-8250U. Processors have maximum cores of 4 cores and a max processor frequency of 2.70 GHz, 2.1 GHz, 2.40 GHz, 1.6 Gigahertz, 1.60 GHz, and has a frequency boostable of 3.5GHz {useable for when you need it|available to you, and a processor cache of 6 MB, with this processor also called a Kaby Lake, Skylake, Kaby Lake R.

The DDR4-SDRAM memory provides as large as 8gb ram that you can configure, at a clock speed of 2133 MHz.

Only the single screen type is purchaseable and that is a backlit high definition, Full HD 15.6 inch screen.The display comes in only the one display resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, 1920x1080 Pixels. There doesn't appear to be a touch screen model available.

If you need extra video processing power, the ASUS VivoBook X542UA uses a discrete GPU. The dedicated graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 930MX. There's a Intel HD Graphics 620, Intel HD Graphics 510, Intel UHD Graphics 620 onboard video card, and it has a base frequency level of 300 MHz available, and 1050 MHz, 950 MHz, 1000 MHz, 1100 MHz of max frequency. 32 GB, 1.74 Gigs of maximum memory is available to the onboard graphics.

The ASUS VivoBook X542UA allows for a total 1000gb of capacity available for the model, through the use of HDD, SSD, HDD+SSD hardrive(s). SD, SDHC, SDXC, SD cards are accepted, so you'll be able to use them whenever you need.

This Laptop does have a bluetooth connected model. The ethernet lan port that's available llets you plug-in as required.

Overall weight for this model is 2.15 kgs, 2.3 kg, 2.1 kgs heavy. 23.2 mm x 380 mm x 251 mm are the overall dimensions for the sizing of the ASUS VivoBook X542UA.
