HP Chromebook 13 G1

HP added a new configuration within their Chromebook family of Laptops, releasing the HP Chromebook 13 G1 on 5/2/2016. There are currently the two variants for this model that we've found, with them being 13 G1, there's also the Chromebook 13 G1 (ENERGY STAR). There is a very limited choice of colour, with only the Silver colour choice available with a HP Chromebook 13 G1.

Multiple options of processor are on offer inside the HP Chromebook 13 G1, with those processors being the m5-6Y57, m7-6Y75, 4405Y, and the m3-6Y30. Processors have maximum cores of two cores and a max processor frequency of 1.1 GHz, 1.2 gigahertz, 1.5 Gigahertz, 0.9 GHz, which can leverage a frequency boostable up to a maximum of 3.1GHz, and a processor cache that is 4MB, with Skylake being another nickname for this processor.

There's a grand total of 16GB of LPDDR3-SDRAM ram that you're able to configure, at a clock speed at 1866 MHz.

There's only one screen purchaseable and that is a 13.3 inch led backlit screen.Just the one screen resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixel in the HP Chromebook 13 G1. There doesn't appear to be any touch screen version available.

There's only an onboard graphics card inside the HP Chromebook 13 G1, as it doesn't have dedicated graphics card. The integrated video processing is done by a Intel HD Graphics 515, and the graphics has a base frequency of 300 MHz available, and 900 MHz, 1000 MHz, 800 MHz, 850 MHz of max frequency. 1.74 GB of maximum memory is available to the integrated graphics.

The HP Chromebook 13 G1 allows for a total 32GB of storage that you can configure for the model, through the use of eMMC, Flash hardrive(s). Because there's SD, SDHC, SDXC slots also available, you can extend the storage if you need to.

IEEE 802.11ac is the top wifi standard used with a HP Chromebook 13 G1. This Laptop does get a bluetooth connected model.

Inside a HP Chromebook 13 G1, you find a 3-cell LiPo 45 Wh battery.

The overall weight comes in at 1.29 kgs heavy. 12.9 mm x 319.9 mm x 219.6 mm are the overall dimensions for the sizing of the HP Chromebook 13 G1.
