MSI has delivered a solid 1440p gaming laptop when it comes to pure performance — it’s just too bad about those fans. Maybe that won’t be an issue for some buyers. For the most part, the MSI GS66 Stealth is a good laptop that should meet the design, ergonomics, performance, and battery life expectations of its potential buyers, but it's also affected by small imperfections and quirks. Many of those concern the system's performance and thermals in demanding loads, that's why I'd primarily look into the lower-tier i7 + RTX 2060/2070 configurations of this laptop, as versatile a work/school computer with only secondary gaming abilities. The MSI GS66 Stealth is finally a gaming laptop that can run at 1440p at decent frame rates.
