Toshiba Satellite C55-A

The Toshiba Satellite C55-A adds another to Toshiba's options of Laptops as part of their Satellite line. We currently know of one variant for this model, and it is the C55-A-158. Models of Toshiba's Toshiba Satellite C55-A come in only the single colour, and that is Black, Silver colour.

There is a 3rd Generation Intel Core i5 family of processor leveraged inside the Toshiba Satellite C55-A, with its duel core i5-3230M processor with a base processor frequency of 2.6 GHz, with a processor frequency boostable up to 3.2GHz ready for you, and a cache of 3 MB, and Ivy Bridge being an alternate name for the processor.

The DDR3-SDRAM memory allows for as much as 8 GB memory , along with a 1600 MHz ram clock speed on the memory.

There is only the one screen size purchaseable and that is a 15.6" HD screen, using a TFT type panel.1366 x 768 Pixels is the only screen resolution that is available. We haven't found a touch screen model that's for sale.

If you need a bit extra graphics grunt, the Toshiba Satellite C55-A leverages a dedicated video card. The discrete graphics is a NVIDIA GeForce 710M. A Intel HD Graphics 4000 is leveraged as the integrated graphics adaptor, with 650 MHz of base frequency, and 1100 MHz of maximum graphics processing frequency.

The Toshiba Satellite C55-A allows for a total 750gigs of capacity available for it, with the maximum storage being available via the use of HDD harddrive types. Since there are MicroSD (TransFlash), MiniSD, SDHC, SDXC slots also installed, you can extend the harddrive space as required.

You'll be able to use bluetooth, as a bluetooth hardware comes installed, and the version of bluetooth used is 4.0 LE.

Within the Toshiba Satellite C55-A, you get a Lithium-Ion (also known as Li-Ion) battery.
