Alienware 17 R2

The Alienware 17 R2 extends Alienware's line up of Laptops within their range. It's possible there may be more we have not found, but we know of the single variation for this model. That configuration is the 17 R2. Variants of the Alienware 17 R2 come in just one colour, which is Black choice.

There is a processor from the 4th Generation Intel Core i7 family leveraged in the Alienware 17 R2, with the model's 4 core i7-4710HQ processor model with a processor frequency at 2.5 GHz, and 3.5GHz of maximum boostable frequency, and a processor cache that is 6 MB, with this processor also called a Haswell.

The SO-DIMM DDR3L-SDRAM ram offers up to 8gb ram that you can configure, along with a 1600 MHz memory clock speed on the ram.

There is just one screen available with that being a Full HD led back lit 17.3 inch screen.1920x1080 Pixel is the single resolution that is available.

If you need a bit more graphics power, the Alienware 17 R2 leverages a dedicated GPU. The discrete video card is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M. The onboard graphics card is a Intel HD Graphics 4600, and that integrated graphics card has 400 MHz of base frequency, and 1200 MHz of maximum frequency. A max of 1.74 GB of memory is on offer to the gpu.

The Alienware 17 R2 allows for a total 1128GB of storage available for it, with HDD+SSD hardrive(s) being installed. Because there's SD, SDHC, SDXC slots also available, you'll be able to add to the storage as required.
