HP EliteBook 840 G6

First released to be sold from HP on 5/28/2019, the HP EliteBook 840 G6 is within the EliteBook range of available Laptops. We currently know of 10 configurations for this model, and they are 840 G6, 840 G6 + 250 G7, 840 G6 + EliteDisplay S14, 840 G6 + Google Home Hub, 840 G6 + P224, 840 G6 + P244, 840 G6 + USB-C Essential Power Bank, 840 G6 + Z24i, 840 G6 + Z24nf G2, and the last one is the 840 G6 + Z27n G2. There's only the single colour with a HP EliteBook 840 G6, and that's a Silver option colour.

Multiple options of processor are on offer inside the HP EliteBook 840 G6, with those processors being the i5-8265U, i7-8565U, i5-8365U, and the i7-8665U. Processors have maximum cores of quad cores and a max processor frequency of 1.6 GHz, 1.8 ghz, 1.9 GHZ, which can leverage a boosted frequency of up to 4.8GHz, with a cache that is 8MB, with the processor also known as a Whiskey Lake.

There's a maximum SO-DIMM DDR4-SDRAM memory of 32 GB that is configurable, with a memory clock speed of 2400 MHz.

There is just the one screen size purchaseable and that's a 14 inch Full high-definition screen, leveraging a IPS, UWVA type panel.1920 x 1080 Pixels is the only screen resolution that is available. We've found at least one touch screen model that's available.

The HP EliteBook 840 G6 does use a discrete video card. The dedicated gpu is a AMD Radeon RX 550 graphics card, assisting power the $laptop$ through processing graphics. There's a Intel UHD Graphics 620 onboard gpu, with a base frequency of 300 MHz available, and 1150 MHz, 1100 MHz of max graphics processing frequency. The max v-ram of 32 GB is usable by the onboard graphics.

1000Gigabytes is the total volume of storage that is configurable with the HP EliteBook 840 G6, with the maximum harddrive space being available through the use of SSD hardrive(s).

There's a top wifi standard of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) that's inside this model. You'll be able to use bluetooth, as this model comes with bluetooth installed. The port that is installed llets you plug-in as you need.

Inside a HP EliteBook 840 G6, you'll find a 50 Wh three cell Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery.
